Key Action 1 (KA1)

  • Know the application deadline
  • Read this extract from the Erasmus+ Programme Guide (if there’s any discrepancy between the two, the latest update of the full guide takes precedence)
  • Check the calendar for Information Sessions, Roadshows or Application Clinics in your area
  • Define your project outline and how it links to national and European policy
  • Get support from Léargas by attending an information session or seeking advice
  • Liaise with and confirm relevant project partner(s)
  • Get authorisation to apply from the legal representative of your organisation
  • Come to our VET Connected-GET Connected international contact seminar to develop KA1 projects in your organisation
  • Make sure all project partners–including your own organisation!–have a PIC (Participant Identification Code)

  • Ensure Adobe Reader is up-to-date
  • Download the Application eForm KA102 ‘VET Learner and Staff Mobility’ from the Resources page
  • Attend the VET Application Workshop
  • Complete the form in detail making sure you address the award criteria
  • Assemble and upload all annexes required for the application
  • Submit online before the deadline

  • Read, sign and stamp your contracts before returning them to Léargas
  • Attend Project Management Days
  • Ensure you have access to Mobility Tool+ via an ECAS account
  • Register details of your project and its participants in Mobility Tool+
  • Maintain all relevant information and documents for reporting and sharing
  • Carry out activities as stated in your application form and notify Léargas of any changes
  • Maintain contact with Léargas throughout the project
  • Notify Léargas immediately of cases of force majeure
  • Share and promote your project throughout its lifecycle

  • Know the reporting deadline(s) as stated in your contract
  • Download the relevant report form via Mobility Tool+
  • Ensure all project activity is reflected in the report
  • Ensure all participants have submitted their reports via Mobility Tool+ (Final Reports only)
  • Upload any relevant annexes
  • Submit online before the deadline

  • Download the Erasmus+ logo and guidelines for use; Erasmus+ should be properly credited for all activities funded by the programme
  • Use social media to share the activities and outcomes of your project
  • Use existing networks to share learning with colleagues and fellow professionals
  • Share your articles, case studies and experiences through social media or publications
  • Contribute to the Léargas blog
  • Present information at topic-related conferences and meetings, including the Léargas Forum

  • Liaise with and confirm relevant project partner(s)

Léargas

Léargas is a not-for-profit organisation that operates under the aegis of the Department of Education and Skills and the Department of Children and Youth Affairs. Léargas manages European, national and international exchange and cooperation programmes in education, training and youth and community work and has been managing such programmes for over 30 years. Léargas currently has 40 staff based in our Dublin office. Our staff come from Ireland, Poland, France, Croatia, Denmark and Spain and have wide-ranging experience in education, training, community, youth and development work; and in IT and finance. The National Centre for Guidance in Education operates under the aegis of Léargas.
