European Day of Languages 2016 competition

There are just over two weeks left for schools to enter our European Day of Languages competition! ‘Climate Change in…’ asks students, with the help of their geography and language teachers, to choose a country where the language they are learning is spoken and find out:

  • how climate change is viewed there
  • what effects climate change has had so far
  • what is being done to prevent it.

Our Languages Coordinator Nellie Tattersall spoke to NearFM’s ‘Northside Today’ last week all about the competition, and the importance of language learning. Don’t forget the great prize: a trip to a European country for an environmental field trip of the winners’ choice. Make sure to send your entries (post or email) by Friday 28 October!
